Job summary
Leonardo UK is seeking a Head of Engineering Capability (Process, Tools & Governance) to shape the future of engineering across the organisation. You will drive modern, data-driven governance, tooling integration and continuous improvement across UK Electronics, leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
Based in the UK with hybrid working arrangements, the role focuses on embedding standardisation, improving efficiency and delivering strategic engineering outcomes through
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in engineering management focusing on governance and process improvement.
- Experience in governance, process improvement and leadership roles.
- Experience resourcing, loading and forward load calculations and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Chair the Engineering Process Council and lead on development of engineering processes and standards.
- Develop a data-driven governance framework and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Drive the development of an integrated engineering ecosystem connecting processes, tools and data.
- Lead adoption of new tools, processes and governance practices across engineering teams.
- Engage with Design Integrity, Engineering, Quality, Digital Engineering and Programme teams.
