Shillito Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Worcester to generate new commercial opportunities and nurture client relationships in engineering markets. You will work with engineering and delivery teams to convert enquiries into repeat business and manage a sales pipeline.

The role requires a commercially minded seller with engineering sector experience and consultative client engagement skills, with a £50k base plus bonus and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience in engineering or technical sectors.
• Track record of winning new clients and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in relevant sectors.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM and outreach.
• Build and manage relationships with key customers and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial terms in collaboration with engineering.
