Kingspan Water & Energy, part of the Kingspan Group PLC, is seeking an Engineer Assistant to support our Engineering Team in the Guildford area. This position blends field and office duties and offers hands-on training to progress into a Service Engineer role.

You will work on customer-facing tasks, learn our systems, and develop skills in technical problem solving, communication, and safety. A strong drive to learn will help you thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with sewage treatment plants or similar equipment is beneficial.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Proficient with mobile tech and task management software.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks using PDA software.
• Communicate with customers and provide ETAs.
• Submit detailed reports and feedback on performance.
• Perform visual safety risk assessments.
• Conduct monthly van stock checks and report parts usage.
• Participate in on-the-job training and development courses.
