Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver engineering training for Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships. You will create lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials while coaching learners to achieve deadlines.

You will promote safeguarding, equality and inclusion, monitor progress and support CPD. Travel to Oakham, Blackburn and other Amcor sites is expected. Join our dynamic team to shape future engineers.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required or willingness to pursue Level 2/3.
• Previous experience delivering training is desirable.
• Ability to deliver positive outcomes, meet deadlines and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to other sites and work flexibly.
• Must undertake a DBS check.
• Must supply two work-related references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Engineering knowledge, skills and behaviours training for Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships.
• Create and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials and resources.
• Coach and mentor students to support engagement and course completion.
• Create an inclusive learning environment supporting equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Conduct initial assessments and recognise prior learning.
• Monitor apprentice progression through reviews, assessments and feedback.
• Promote learner safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Support apprentices with functional skills development.
• Promote engineering programme compliance through Internal Quality Audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain continuing professional development and support external auditing and quality assurance.
• Occasionally travel to the Oakham and Blackburn Apprentice Academies and other Amcor sites.
• Participate in careers, STEM and corporate social responsibility events.
