Job summary

Truro & Penwith College is seeking an Engineering Skills and Development Coordinator to join the Maths, Computing and Engineering team. The role focuses on coordinating apprentice progress, conducting workplace assessments, and developing learning materials to support learners and employers across Cornwall.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 4/5 engineering qualification, have recent industry experience, and be capable of engaging with learners, employers and colleagues while ensuring

Qualifications

• A Level 4 or 5 qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
• Recent industry experience within an engineering environment.
• Experience delivering or supporting apprenticeship standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work effectively with learners, employers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor apprentice progress.
• Carry out workplace assessments and reviews.
• Develop learning and assessment materials.
• Work closely with employers to ensure apprentices achieve qualifications and apprenticeship outcomes.
