Job summary

Capita is hiring an Apprenticeship Assessor to support Royal Navy engineering apprentices at HMS Sultan. You will coordinate activities, monitor progress and provide guidance to ensure learners progress through their engineering apprenticeships in the Royal Navy.

This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week and requires eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC). You'll manage a caseload, visit training establishments and workplaces, maintain records, and identify learners needing extra help to

Qualifications

• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
• Good IT skills and adapt to inhouse systems.
• Previous administration experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines.
• Desirable: familiarity with engineering industry, knowledge of Apprenticeships, coaching or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey.
• Managing a caseload of apprentices and conducting progress reviews.
• Providing guidance, coaching and support to help apprentices stay on track.
• Maintaining learner records and apprenticeship documentation.
• Identifying learners who require additional support to achieve completion.
• Visiting training establishments, ships and naval units to support apprentices.
