Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a hands-on Engineer Supervisor for a market-leading manufacturing site in the UK. You will lead a small team and oversee maintenance, fault-finding and planned maintenance on fully automated production lines to maximise uptime.

The role combines technical leadership with practical shop-floor duties and offers training and development. The ideal candidate has electrical or mechanical maintenance experience and engineering qualifications, and is motivated to

Qualifications

• Non-Negotiable: Electrical or Mechanical maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Hands on maintenance across pre-planned, reactive and breakdown tasks in a factory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 (1 Engineer & 2 Production Operatives) on maintenance activities.
• Carry out maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated machinery.
• Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of production lines.

• Either Electrical or Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a factory.

Requirements for the Engineer Supervisor

• Be willing to be a Hands-On Engineering Supervisor.
• Recognised engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineer Supervisor

• Experience working as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a Industrial Manufacturing environment.
