As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide expert technical support for maintenance, servicing, and improvement of building services across the Council’s housing portfolio. You will work with internal teams, contractors, and residents to manage and deliver responsive and planned works, from domestic heating to complex commercial plant.
You will ensure engineering services meet all safety and regulatory standards while providing value and excellent service to residents. Your responsibilities include managing disrepair cases, contractor performance, and representing the council on technical matters, including court appearances.
