Job summary

Talentmark Limited in Gloucester is recruiting an Engineer on a six-month contract for the pharmaceutical sector. The role is site-based and focuses on developing and managing service engineering documents throughout the product life cycle.

You will train customer-facing teams, provide Tier 3 support, break down requirements into actionable work, lead the technical team on projects, and ensure design controls comply with FDA, ISO and IEC standards. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical qualification required.
• Strong engineering knowledge and R&D experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and tracking tools like DevOps or Jira.

Responsibilities

Talentmark are recruiting for an Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months. This role is site-based in Gloucester.

Salary:

Up to £25.40 per hour, PAYE.

Engineer Role:

• Develop and manage service engineering documents through the full life of the product.
• Deliver training on customer interaction processes for the support teams.
• Provide Tier 3 support and handle escalations passed on from the Tier 2 team.
• Take part in breaking down system requirements into detailed, workable requirements.
• Lead the technical team during projects to keep output quality high and on time.
• Make sure design controls follow FDA, ISO, and IEC rules and standards.

Your Background:

• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and tracking systems such as DevOps or Jira.
• Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines and related fields.
• At least an associate degree, plus relevant technical experience in an R&D setting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well under minimal supervision and stay calm under pressure.
