Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust is inviting applications for a Cover Supervisor at Fakenham Academy. The role involves supervising classes when teachers are absent, assisting with tutor-time and break duties, and providing flexible support across the school to ensure continuity of learning for all pupils.

Applicants should have a minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths, be educated to at least A-Level standard, and ideally hold a degree. A DBS check will be required upon appointment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Educated to at least A-Level (or equivalent).
• A degree level qualification would be an advantage; however candidates with relevant experience should not be discouraged from applying.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence.
• Provide tutor-time supervision and break/lunch duties.
• Support across Pastoral and SEND teams and undertake admin tasks.
• Ensure consistent care, support and continuity of learning for all students.
• Maintain classroom order and respond to general questions.
