Fakenham Academy invites applications for a Cover Supervisor to join our Cover Team, starting as soon as possible. You will supervise classes during teacher absence and support across the school, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils aged 11–16.

We offer a permanent contract, 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 1 week, with a probationary period and DBS safeguarding checks. The role suits adaptable, resilient individuals with strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence
• Support tutor:time supervision and lunch/break duties
• Assist Pastoral and SEND teams and perform admin tasks as needed
• Ensure consistent care, support and continuity of learning for students
• Maintain classroom order and respond to student questions
