Job summary

King’s Oak Academy is seeking a passionate Lunchtime Supervisor (SMSA) to support pupils in Years 5 and 6 at the midday break. Working 5 hours per week, term time only, you will help supervise, ensure safety and promote a positive lunchtime experience.

Join a supportive team in a school that values wellbeing, confidentiality and strong communication with pupils, parents and staff. The role starts asap subject to pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic hygiene procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with students, staff and parents.
• Strong interpersonal skills and active listening.
• Able to relate well to children, young people and adults.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in Years 5 and 6 during the lunchtime break.
• Ensure safety, welfare and proper conduct during lunch.
• Contribute to a positive lunchtime experience for all pupils.
