Job summary

Charlton Wood Primary Academy is seeking two enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisors (SMSAs) to join our supportive team as soon as possible. This role focuses on a safe, happy lunchtime experience and positive interactions among pupils.

The position is term-time only, Monday–Friday, 11:30am–1pm (7.5 hours/week) with a permanent contract. Start ASAP; interview date provided.Benefits include CPD, paid induction, DBS check, free parking, Cycle Scheme and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support lunchtime supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children in the dining hall and playground.
• Encouraging positive play and behaviour.
• Supporting inclusion.
• Providing basic first aid where appropriate.
