Job summary

Oasis Academy Marksbury Road is seeking a School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join the lunchtime team. The role is 2 hours per day during term time, supporting pupils, promoting safety and encouraging good manners during the midday break.

You will work with colleagues to maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere and help with minor behavioural needs, with training provided on safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage positively with children and promote good behaviour.
• Reliable and flexible to cover additional hours when needed.
• Clear communication and caring approach.
• Works well in a team and follows safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall.
• Promote positive behaviour and safety at midday breaks.
• Support pupils and report concerns to senior staff.
