Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Learning Coach to support learners aged 16-19 at a Leicester-based Further Education college. The role involves delivering tutorials, mentoring, monitoring progress and wellbeing, and managing a caseload on a temporary, long-term basis.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 English and Maths, a Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent, experience in pastoral support, safeguarding knowledge and strong organisational skills. Competitive PAYE rates apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting young people academically or personally.
• Experience delivering tutorials or pastoral support.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare of learners aged 16-19.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group tutorials.
• Monitor attendance and progress.
• Provide targeted interventions to help students overcome barriers to learning.
• Support students' wellbeing and personal development.
