Dovetail & Slate Ltd. is seeking a Learning Coach for a further education provider in the East Midlands. You will work closely with learners and employer partners, supporting progress through training, assessment and regular review.

You will build strong working relationships with learners, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to achieve, while keeping records accurate and programmes on track.

Competenze

• Occupational or vocational experience relevant to the programme area.
• Experience of supporting, coaching or assessing learners.
• Strong organisational skills and accuracy with records and data.
• Confident communication skills with learners, employers and colleagues.

Mansioni

• Provide regular coaching, training and progress reviews to learners.
• Carry out assessments in line with awarding body standards.
• Liaise with employers to arrange visits, inductions and reviews.
• Maintain accurate learner files, ILPs and tracking systems.
• Monitor learner progress and take action where learners fall behind.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

About the Role

We're recruiting a Learning Coach for a further education provider in the East Midlands. You'll work closely with learners and employer partners, supporting progress through training, assessment and regular review.

You’ll build strong working relationships with learners, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to achieve, while keeping records accurate and programmes on track.

• Supporting learners through their programme with regular coaching, training and progress reviews.
• Carrying out assessments in line with awarding body standards.
• Liaising with employers to arrange visits, inductions and reviews.
• Maintaining accurate learner files, individual learning plans and tracking systems.
• Monitoring learner progress and taking action where learners fall behind.
• Working with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Occupational or vocational experience relevant to the programme area
• Experience of supporting, coaching or assessing learners
• Strong organisational skills and accuracy with records and data
• Confident communication skills with learners, employers and colleagues

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised assessor qualification
• Experience of working with apprenticeship or work-based learning programmes
• A teaching or training qualification
