Job summary

St Elizabeth’s in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor for an initial six-month period. The role is on-site with flexible hours, and full-time, part-time or consultancy options are under consideration.

You will design and deliver training across safeguarding, first aid and health & safety, collaborating with managers to identify needs and turning them into practical learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering training, workshops or learning programmes.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• The confidence to work with colleagues and managers at all levels.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools.
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience within health, social care, education or another regulated environment.
• A recognised training qualification, CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mandatory, refresher and developmental learning across St Elizabeth’s.
• Facilitate face-to-face and blended learning for colleagues in a wide variety of roles.
• Deliver areas such as Safeguarding, First Aid, Manual Handling and Health & Safety, where appropriately qualified.
• Work directly with managers and teams to understand learning needs and turn them into practical solutions.
• Support learning compliance across our regulated services, including CQC, Ofsted and HSE requirements.
• Help develop learning resources, systems and training records.
• Evaluate what’s working, challenge what isn’t and bring forward new ideas.
• Play an active part in building a culture where learning, development and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
