Job summary

Smile Education is supporting a Cannock-area secondary school to appoint a dedicated ICT Teacher. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging ICT/Computing lessons across the secondary age range, including GCSE level where required.

We are seeking an ECT or fully qualified ICT/Computing Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and effective communication. Experience with SEND and differentiation is valued, and applicants should be motivated to help students develop

Qualifications

• An ECT or fully qualified ICT/Computing Teacher.
• Strong subject knowledge of ICT/Computing and curriculum understanding.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience teaching ICT/Computing at GCSE level is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver ICT/Computing lessons.
• Teach ICT/Computing across the secondary age range, including GCSE.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom.
• Adapt teaching to meet SEND and additional support needs.
• Develop students' digital literacy and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the ICT curriculum.
