The role offers the chance to deliver high-quality Maths teaching across GCSE (and A Level where required), plan engaging lessons, and support a broad and ambitious curriculum.

Qualifications

• ECT or fully qualified Maths Teacher.
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and a secure understanding of the Maths curriculum.
• Experience teaching Maths at GCSE level and familiarity with examination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and mark engaging Maths lessons in line with school expectations.
• Deliver high-quality Maths teaching across the secondary age range.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of SEND pupils and those requiring additional support.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
• Teach Maths up to GCSE level, with A Level teaching available where required.
