Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Functional Skills English Tutor to join our centre-based team. The role focuses on delivering Functional Skills English in a classroom setting up to Level 2, using existing resources and creating new materials as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering training to small groups, be engaging and energetic, and hold the required Level 3 English qualification, with progression toward Level 5 Teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Functional Skills English.
• Must hold Level 3 English qualification.
• Experience delivering training to small groups of learners.
• Willing to work towards Level 5 Teaching qualification.
• Energetic and able to motivate clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills English, within a classroom environment (up to Level 2).
• Utilise existing delivery resources, and prepare own when required.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• Be flexible with delivery methods and adapt quickly to learners' needs.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
