Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor / Maths Tutor for a centre-based role. You will deliver Functional Skills Maths sessions up to Level 2 in a classroom environment.

The role requires experience delivering Functional Skills Maths, a willingness to work towards a Teaching qualification at level 5 (fully funded), and strong classroom management with the ability to engage learners, differentiate, and support learners' progression.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths.
• Willingness to work towards Teaching qualification at level 5 (fully funded).
• Experience delivering to small groups of learners.
• Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths sessions within a classroom environment (up to Level 2).
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• Be flexible with delivery methods, providing differentiation and adapting to learners' needs.
• Assist learners in identifying skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• Be engaging and energetic to motivate/train clients and help learners realise their potential.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
