Milesian Manor, Magherafelt, part of Macklin Care Homes, is recruiting an Activities / Lifestyle Coordinator to create a warm, engaging programme for residents. You will plan and deliver activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction, tailored to individual interests.

Successful candidates will bring a passion for arts and drama, adapt activities for diverse abilities, and work with care staff to support residents' care. The role is 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with older people.
• Experience and a passion for Arts and Drama-related activities.
• Develop and maintain a varied and engaging activities programme.
• Adapt activities for diverse abilities and needs.
• Organise external entertainers and visitors.
• Monitor attendance and engagement to identify popular activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities for residents.
• Deliver activities that promote social interaction, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Coordinate with Care Assistants, Nurses and Home Manager to align activities with care goals.
• Organise external entertainers, community groups, and visitors as appropriate.
• Monitor attendance and engagement, updating the programme based on feedback.
