Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of activities that enhance the wellbeing and social connections of residents. From arts and crafts to gentle exercise, reminiscence sessions, and outings, you will spark engagement and lift spirits.

You will work with residents, families and colleagues to tailor activities to care plans, promote participation, and support a positive daily routine across our Scottish sites.

Qualifications

• Ideally an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Creative, positive and patient approach.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and basic IT ability for planning and recording activities.
• Enthusiasm for encouraging participation and making every day engaging.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver a variety of activities that suit residents’ interests and abilities.
• Arrange outings and special events that encourage social interaction.
• Work with individuals and groups to promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure activities are tailored to personal care plans and adapt to individual needs.
