Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Haddington Care Home is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities, tailored to individual interests and care needs.

You will work as part of a supportive team, building relationships, promoting wellbeing and social interaction for residents, including those living with dementia, with training available for new staff.

Qualifications

• A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Experience in activities or similar roles beneficial; transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
• Build strong relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusion.
