Job summary

Greenways Care Home in Anniesland, Glasgow, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life through engaging, meaningful, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs, building strong relationships with residents, including those living with dementia.

Qualifications

• A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• A genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction.
• Plan and run a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs.
• Build strong relationships to understand preferences and support inclusive participation, including residents with dementia.
