Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Westerton Care Home in Bearsden is seeking an experienced Activities Lead to plan, deliver and tailor a wide range of group and one-to-one activities for residents, including those living with dementia. The role focuses on meaningful, person-centred engagement that supports wellbeing and social interaction.

You will work with the Home Manager and care team to align activities with individual care plans, maintain accurate records and continually review the programme to keep

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities within a care home or similar care environment is essential.
• Understanding the importance of meaningful activities for residents' wellbeing.
• Experience adapting activities for older people, including those living with dementia.
• Ability to plan and deliver activities for groups and individuals.
• Creative, enthusiastic and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied activity programme for residents.
• Develop activities around residents' interests and care needs.
• Organise outings and events with the care team.
• Maintain accurate activity records and regularly review the programme.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to align activities with care plans.
