Torfaen County Borough Council in Pontypool is seeking an Engagement Officer to join the Communications Team on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). You will lead and promote public engagement across the council and work with the local service board to deliver strategic engagement in line with corporate priorities, including the Torfaen Deal. You will also manage the council’s online engagement hub and people’s panel, coordinating activities with partners and staff.

Formación

• Highly organised and motivated with strong planning skills.
• Experience coordinating engagement activities across large organisations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and promote public engagement across the council.
• Collaborate with the Children and Young People Engagement and Participation Officer.
• Coordinate borough-wide engagement activities and develop engagement tools.
