Job summary

Powys County Council invites applications for Strategic Communications and Engagement Lead (Ceredigion County Council) to shape the voice, visibility and public narrative of Mid Wales. You will provide senior communications, engagement and public affairs leadership across the Mid Wales Growth Deal and the wider regional programme.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communications plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (and Welsh where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on communications strategy and issues management.
• Coordinate cross-partner engagement and public affairs activities.
• Lead high-profile communications during sensitive or complex policy matters.
• Demonstrate and report on the impact of investment across Mid Wales.
