Job summary

Bristow & Sutor is seeking Enforcement Agents to cover South East London including Greenwich, Bexley Heath, Dartford, Croydon and Orpington. The role offers a starting basic salary of £26,441–£28,460 with a clear path to earnings of £40,000–£65,000 through commissions and bonuses.

You will visit customers at homes and businesses, negotiate recoveries, take payments and organise payment arrangements while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Able to work to targets and meet team goals.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Experience in customer-focused roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses in the South East London area.
• Negotiate professionally to maximise recoveries.
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete income questionnaires.
• Take control of goods when necessary, following regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Identify vulnerability signs and refer appropriately to support channels.

What you will do

• Visit customers' homes and businesses
• Negotiate professionally and confidently to maximise successful recoveries
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete an income questionnaire
• Take control of goods when there's no other option, always following the regulations
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports, and payment records
• Identify and support customer vulnerability by recognising signs of hardship, adapting your approach and ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed
