Job summary

Priority Recruitment seeks Enforcement Agents to cover Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will visit customers' homes and businesses to recover debts, negotiate payments, and maintain accurate records.

The role offers a basic salary of £26,441–£28,460 with OTE £40,000–£65,000, plus a company car, toolkit, and flexible hours between 5am and 9pm. Training and court certification are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses within your area to support debt recovery.
• Negotiate payments and set up repayment plans.
• Take control of goods when required in line with legislation.
• Maintain case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Support vulnerable customers with sensitivity and respect.
• Manage own workload and hit performance targets.

Location: Portsmouth including:Southampton, Fareham, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Winchester, Petersfield

Salary: £26,441 – £28,460 basic salary, with OTE of £40,000 – £65,000

Hours: Flexible working hours, with start times varying between 5am and 9pm

Requirements: Full UK manual driving licence. Applicants must be free of CCJs and criminal convictions.

Key Responsibilities of an Enforcement Agent

• Visit customers' homes and businesses within your designated geographical area.
• Communicate professionally and confidently with customers to maximise successful debt recoveries.
• Negotiate payment in full or establish suitable repayment arrangements.
• Complete income and expenditure questionnaires where required.
• Take control of goods when necessary, in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Recognise and support vulnerable customers, adapting your approach to their individual circumstances.
• Manage your own workload, organise daily visits and work towards performance targets.
• Handle difficult and sensitive conversations calmly, fairly and professionally.
