Job summary

Priority Recruitment is seeking Enforcement Agents to cover Cardiff and surrounding areas. You will visit customers’ homes and businesses, communicate professionally to recover debts, and negotiate payment plans. You will manage your own workload with flexible hours and strive to meet performance targets.

The role offers a base salary of £26,441–£28,460 with a strong commission/OTE potential and supportive training, including court certification and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• No CCJs or criminal convictions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Enforcement Agent

Location: Cardiff including: Barry, Pontypridd, Abertillery, Pontypool, Newport, Chepstow

Salary: £26,441 – £28,460 basic salary, with OTE of £40,000 – £65,000

Hours: Flexible working hours, with start times varying between 5am and 9pm

Requirements: Full UK manual driving licence. Applicants must be free of CCJs and criminal convictions.

Key Responsibilities of an Enforcement Agent:

• Visit customers' homes and businesses within your designated geographical area.
• Communicate professionally and confidently with customers to maximise successful debt recoveries.
• Negotiate payment in full or establish suitable repayment arrangements.
• Complete income and expenditure questionnaires where required.
• Take control of goods when necessary, in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Recognise and support vulnerable customers, adapting your approach to their individual circumstances.
• Manage your own workload, organise daily visits and work towards performance targets.
• Handle difficult and sensitive conversations calmly, fairly and professionally.
