Job summary

Costa Coffee in St Albans is seeking an Energy Manager to lead energy and water management across our UK & Ireland operations, including stores and the Roastery, delivering cost savings and emissions reductions. You’ll monitor consumption, manage budgets, and oversee supplier relationships while partnering with Property, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Sustainability to embed resource efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience managing energy and water budgets and supplier relationships in a large organisation.
• Solid knowledge of ESOS, SECR and carbon levies applicable in the UK.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communicator, adept at building relationships with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy and water provision across UK & Ireland owned stores and Roastery.
• Monitor consumption, data accuracy, and budgets for electricity, gas and water.
• Identify and deliver cost-effective efficiency projects to reduce usage and emissions.
• Collaborate with Property, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Sustainability teams.
• Ensure compliance with UK environmental legislation and ESG reporting.
