Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Civil & Structural Resident Engineer to support the Energy Civil & Structural team through site visits and inspections primarily within HV substations. The successful candidate will produce detailed reports, develop risk assessments, and collaborate with designers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural engineering and familiarity with electricity infrastructure. Flexibility in work schedule and a supportive company culture are part of the offered benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in electricity infrastructure, ideally NG substations.
• CSCS/EUSR (or equivalent) certification.
• Experience with DH15 reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and inspections for HV substations.
• Prepare detailed site visit reports including photography and sketches.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
