Job summary

Smart Managed Solutions is seeking a Building Performance Engineer to evaluate energy usage and systems performance across our portfolio. You will analyze data, identify efficiency opportunities, implement energy-saving measures, and work with Operations and Professional Services teams on energy audits and BMS interventions.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified degree in Energy/Environmental Management or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in energy management or sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse data from systems to assess asset performance and energy efficiency.
• Perform data analysis to identify efficiency opportunities across the portfolio.
• Monitor optimisation results and implement energy efficiency measures.
• Report energy consumption and maintenance planning with stakeholder liaison.
• Investigate energy-related queries on site with operational teams.
• Undertake energy audits across the portfolio to deploy data-led analytics solutions.
• Troubleshoot problems and advise on courses of action.
• Support utility metering and monitoring system strategy.
• Devise procedures for data capture and analysis.
