Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework. The role focuses on finance and project processes, coordinating site labour and delivering accurate reporting to support project delivery.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, utilise MS Office and PowerBI, and promote continuous improvement across the team. Murphy offers a comprehensive benefits package and a long-term career path.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transaction process role (AP, purchase ledger, procurement, finance).
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to work with multiple systems.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute key finance and project processes (raising requisitions, GRN orders, reporting status).
• Coordinate site labour processes (timesheets, coding, overtime requests).
• Process project transactions in the accounting system and generate reports.
• Run weekly management order reports and attend PM/QS meetings when required.
• Promote health, safety and environmental best practices with SHQE.
• Utilise multiple software packages including O365 and PowerBI.
• Maintain diaries and schedule meetings for the senior team (virtual and in-person).
• Highlight process gaps to the Project Manager where financial risk exists.
• Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and sharing best practices.
