Amey, a global infrastructure consultancy, invites applications for a Permanent Finance Manager role in the North West. This hybrid position combines home and office working, with standard Mon-Fri hours and a focus on partnering with senior leaders to drive value and manage risk.

You will build relationships with senior stakeholders, lead budgets and forecasts, and turn financial data into actionable insights for strategic decisions. Amey is committed to development and flexible working.

Qualifications

• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Ability to translate data into clear commercial insight.
• Experience leading senior stakeholder engagement and decision-making.
• Knowledge of financial controls, governance and risk management.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and finance systems experience.

Responsabilités

• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and provide commercial insight.
• Lead budgets, forecasts and medium-term plans aligned with priorities.
• Deliver accurate management reporting and decision-ready analysis.
• Analyse performance drivers, risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain controls, reconciliations and governance while supporting month-end/year-end/audit.
• Develop business cases and financial scenarios to optimise value and resource allocation.
