Job summary

VIQU Energy Limited is seeking a highly analytical Gross Margin Manager to join our Finance team in Birmingham. You will own end-to-end gross margin measurement, reporting and analysis across electricity supply activities, ensuring revenue and costs are accurately captured and understood.

The role requires strong margin experience in UK energy, a professional qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), excellent Excel skills and a proactive approach to process improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical finance professional with experience measuring, reporting and analyzing gross margin.
• Experience within the UK energy supply industry.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong Excel capability.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end gross margin reporting with accurate cost/revenue matching.
• Calculate and review unbilled revenue and underlying assumptions.
• Validate customer billed versus settled volumes and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyse margins against pricing assumptions and identify revenue leakage.
• Improve gross margin reporting processes and controls.
