Job summary

Citizens Advice Barnet is recruiting four Energy Advisers to deliver energy advice services across Barnet and Haringey. You will provide high-quality energy advice via phone, email, digital platforms and face-to-face outreach, building partnerships with local organisations and helping residents access support.

Salary is £32,945.86 per annum, with 36 hours per week, on-site work with some flexibility. Benefits include pension, generous holiday, flexible working, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Relevant energy awareness certification or willingness to obtain during training.
• Ability to assess and advise clients across energy topics.
• Experience in generalist advice work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial energy advice to clients across multiple channels.
• Record accurate data and client details in the case management system.
• Deliver education sessions to clients and community organisations.
• Keep up to date with energy-related legislation and policies.
• Attend meetings and contribute to service improvements.
