Job summary

Zizzi is seeking a dynamic Head Chef to lead our open kitchen in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll set the standard for food quality, train and inspire your team, and partner with the General Manager to drive food costs and financial results.

You'll manage both dine-in and delivery channels, uphold safety and cleanliness, and deliver an exceptional Italian dining experience from service to service.

Qualifications

• High standards and a passion for Italian food.
• Proven leadership experience running a team in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience managing costs, stock control and labour budgets.
• Ability to stay calm, organised and lead from the front during busy times, including evenings and weekends.
• People-focused leadership with coaching and development of their team.
• Uncompromising eye for consistency, cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality at every service.
• Flawlessly manage high-volume delivery channels alongside dine-in operations.
• Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team.
• Model safety, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards is always spot on.
• Own kitchen performance, mastering food costs, labour, and service metrics.
• Partner with General Manager to drive commercial results and guest experience.
