Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Harlow to join a vibrant early years setting. You will plan and deliver play-based learning, support children with a safe and inclusive environment, and work to EYFS standards while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, with 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Experience in nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.
