Job summary

Village Hotels in Dudley is seeking a capable Chef de Partie to join a busy kitchen brigade. You will assist the chefs on your section, control portions, check temperatures, and ensure every plate meets brand specifications.

You will maintain strict hygiene standards and contribute to a smooth, efficient service with clear team communication. You will build knowledge of the menu, maintain high energy levels in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy opportunities for growth through internal moves

Qualifications

• Assist chefs on your section, controlling portion sizes and checking temperatures.
• Strictly adhere to food hygiene regulations (FRESH, HACCP, EHO).
• Know the menu and be ready to discuss dishes and ingredients.
• Communicate clearly with restaurant and banqueting teams to keep service moving.

Responsibilities

• The Prep & The Line: Delivering a smooth flow of work. Assist the chefs on your section, controlling portion sizes, checking temperatures, and ensuring every plate looks exactly to company specification.
