Job summary

UHMBT's Royal Lancaster Infirmary in Lancaster is seeking a patient‑facing Endoscopy CSW Grade 3 for a permanent full‑time role (37.5 hours per week, 8:00–18:30). The post offers a pro‑rata salary of £25,760–£27,476, paid yearly, with opportunities to develop within a busy endoscopy unit.

You will support nurses and endoscopists, transfer endoscopes, assist in procedures, observe patients, and help with recovery.

Qualifications

• NHS Care Certificate or Level 3 qualification (or willingness to complete within 3 months)
• Experience with patient care procedures and manual handling is desirable

Responsibilities

• Transferring endoscopes to HDSU
• Assisting the Registered Nurse in procedures once trained
• Supporting patients in the recovery area and recording observations
• Helping to safely transfer patients
