Qualificações

• 12 months experience in a professional contract as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent.
• Maths and English at Level 1 (GCSE).
• Care Certificate or must complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care/Equivalent qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately monitor, record and report variations in vital signs to the Registered Nurse.
• Support with admission and discharge in Endoscopy units and work across Endoscopy areas.
• Undertake blood glucose monitoring and report results to the Registered Nurse.
• Undertake urinalysis and pregnancy testing and report results to the Registered Nurse.
• Remove peripheral cannula following training and supervision.
• Ensure procedure rooms are prepared for procedures in a timely manner.
• Assist with preparation for JAG and CQC visits.
• Support induction and training of new Endoscopy staff.
• Maintain professional communication within the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure confidentiality and report patient progress or deterioration promptly.
