Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust’s Endoscopy Unit in Oldham is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the team. You will be responsible for decontamination of endoscopes, assisting endoscopists in the procedure room, and acting as the patient’s named nurse to advocate for privacy and dignity throughout the journey.

Applicants must have proven post-registration experience and have completed a registered nursing preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2).
• Post-registration experience in hospital nursing is essential.
• Completion of a registered nursing preceptorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate endoscopes and assist endoscopists in the procedure room.
• Be the patient’s named nurse, advocating for privacy and dignity during the endoscopy journey.
• Demonstrate leadership and adapt to a changing environment while supporting development.
