Job summary

ID Medical is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse for flexible full-time or part-time options. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing care during endoscopic procedures, in line with NMC guidelines and Trust policies. You will support patients from pre-procedure to recovery, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Start date is as soon as possible. The position offers both full-time and part-time shifts, typically Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with current practice and knowledge of guidelines.
• Patient-centred care approach aligned with Trust policies.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support patients throughout endoscopic procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Monitor patients and escalate concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Promote patient dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the endoscopy team to ensure safe care delivery.

Duties: Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in accordance with NMC guidelines and Trust policies. Responsibilities include preparing and supporting patients throughout endoscopic procedures, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, administering medication safely where required, monitoring patients and escalating concerns appropriately, maintaining accurate clinical records, promoting patient dignity and wellbeing, and working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary endoscopy team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
