Job summary

LivingCare Group is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Site Lead to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the endoscopy site. You will provide strong clinical leadership, manage staffing, equipment, stock, governance and patient safety within NHS and regulatory frameworks.

You will work with the Lead Nurse and wider team to implement policies, drive quality improvement and ensure high standards of care across the site. A degree-level qualification and endoscopy experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with endoscopy experience and clinical credibility.
• Proven ability to lead clinical teams in a regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for day-to-day operational running and clinical leadership of the endoscopy site.
• Lead delivery of a safe, high-quality endoscopy service within agreed requirements.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and professional development across the team.
• Provide expert clinical and operational advice and ensure evidence-based practice.
• Support recruitment, workforce planning and staff development.
• Ensure safe staffing, rota planning and effective deployment of staff.
• Sourcing and procurement of endoscopy equipment and consumables within budget.
• Maintain equipment management schedules, asset tracking and service contracts.
• Liaise with primary and secondary care units and participate in endoscopy meetings.
• Investigate complaints and adverse incidents to prevent recurrence.
