Job summary

Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital invites an experienced Endoscopy Lead Practitioner/Nurse to join the Theatre team. You will hold NMC or HCPC registration and lead the Endoscopy Unit, driving infection control, patient safety and JAG reaccreditation processes.

You will oversee procedures including OGD and colonoscopy, support in therapeutic interventions, and ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration is required.
• Strong leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent infection control and patient safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the Theatre Manager in running the Endoscopy Unit and drive quality improvements.
• Coordinate activity and ensure patient care and safety.
• Possess expert knowledge of endoscopic procedures (OGD, colonoscopy, therapeutics).
• Assist in preparation and delivery of endoscopic procedures.
