Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), situated in the West End of London, seeks an Endoscopy Admin Coordinator to join the Endoscopy Unit's administrative team. You will manage patient pathways, book appointments, and handle clinical correspondence while supporting the Clinical Nurse Endoscopists.

The role requires NHS experience or a desire to work in healthcare, excellent teamwork, negotiation and organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level with English and Maths at grade C or above.
• NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services or equivalent.
• Experience in an NHS environment or healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication, confidentiality awareness and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient pathways within the Endoscopy Unit and track appointments.
• Support the Clinical Nurse Endoscopists with administrative tasks.
• Provide a primary contact between the multi-disciplinary team and patients/relatives.
• Handle non-routine issues and resolve complaints with professional service.
• Support cross-cover for administrative areas to ensure high patient satisfaction.
