Job summary

Barnsley Hospital NHS FT invites applications for a Lead Nurse for Endoscopy. This 30-hour, 12-month fixed-term/secondment opportunity provides visible clinical and professional leadership, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality patient care and running day-to-day nursing operations.

Working with the Matron, Service Manager and clinical team, you will drive governance, staff development, rostering, and resource use while advancing JAG standards and service improvement, shaping the future

Qualifications

• Must have clinical leadership and managerial experience.
• Experience in change management and service development.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in acute care.
• Experience in financial management and resource planning.
• Experience leading clinical incidents and responding to complaints.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of the nursing team.
• Ensure safe, effective and high-quality patient care and experience.
• Support clinical governance, JAG requirements and service improvement.
