Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable Endoscopy Nurse Lead to manage the Pre-Assessment Clinic for inpatients and day-case procedures. You will assess patient fitness, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure seamless transfer from pre-assessment to surgery.

The role requires extensive Endoscopy experience, JAG/JETS familiarity, and leadership to mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality care in a busy Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration Endoscopy nursing experience.
• Completed JAG/JETS courses or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing teams and change management.
• Good knowledge of budgeting/financial management.

Responsabilités

• Manage the Nurse Led Pre-Assessment Clinic for Inpatient and Day Case Endoscopy patients.
• Assess patients’ fitness and liaise with multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth pathway.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; drive audits and projects in line with Trust standards.
